Do the communities that your organisation serves struggle to generate a stable income? Does your staff look for ideas and training examples to help clients with very limited literacy? Course objective:

This workshop, specifically designed for Asian trainers, gives basic knowledge, tools and training examples and techniques to NGO trainers/ social workers / microfinance officers to help their low income clients find ideas to generate income and set up a profitable business and help the clients who already have little shops or businesses make their shop/business generate a sustainable revenue stream for themselves while having a positive impact on their communities. After this 3 day workshop, participants have built a training draft on income generation/business for their own clients, trained facilitating part of it and feel confident in explaining technical points.

Day 3: business in context: the impact at community level  


Our Approach: participatory, group activities, case studies, training demonstration and practise sessions. Our training workshops put finance in context and include behaviour and social issues. They are only one step in our endeavour to contribute to poverty alleviation: participants will also have access to our training database and technical review notes, plus support to implement their own training programme.
